Founded in 1987, TransAm Trucking earned its status as the premier carrier in the temperature-controlled freight industry by providing its customers with superior service that exceeds their expectations. Initially founded with 70 tractors and 100 trailers, TransAm has expanded beyond its first Kansas City, Missouri facility and now operates a fleet of over 1,000 tractors and over 1,900 trailers out of its headquarters in nearby Olathe, Kansas. TransAm also maintains a fully-staffed terminal, driver’s center and maintenance facility in Rockwall, Texas.

The package includes a 24″ flat screen TV, DVR and access to more than 100 channels including the NFL Sunday Ticket and HBO. Tuition Reimbursement Program

TransAm Trucking offers a tuition reimbursement program to our student drivers. We want to invest in you and help you repay your truck driving school loan. We hire graduates of truck driving school programs across the country and we will reimburse $125 per month up to $6,000.
Great Equipment

As a company driver, you will have access to great equipment including the Kenworth T680 equipped with the PACCAR MX engine which is fuel efficient, environmentally friendly and very quiet. All trucks have automatic transmissions which mean less fatigue in traffic, a safer, smoother ride, and great fuel mileage. All trucks have condo cabs, dual bunks, refrigerators, CD players, Auxiliary Power Units, inverters and are satellite radio-equipped. At their option, Independent Contractors who wish to lease a tractor through ONE Leasing will have access to this same great equipment.

Qualification Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Excellent driving record
• Minimum 21 years old
• No DUI convictions in the last two years
• No more than two preventable accidents in the last 36 months
• DOT physical and drug screen required
