Exciting opportunity to join a successful, team-oriented operation! Diamondback Delivery is looking for an individual to haul 53′ reefer trailers on routes within the Midwest and Southwest regions. Multiple positions are available for full-time company drivers or independent contractors with their own equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer combo truck with a max GVWR capacity of 80,000 lbs.
  • Transport no touch, refrigerated freight
  • Adhere to documentation and tracking policies with accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on both truck and trailer
  • Report any issues, concerns, or incidents to dispatch
  • Some routes may include:

o                 Connecting with team members to relay loads

o                 Trailer relocations

o                 Final delivery completion

Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in truck driving or related field
  • Class A Commercial driver’s license
  • Ability to drive at night
  • Effective communication with dispatch and customers
  • History of maintained driver log compliance
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to maneuver up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong work ethic

Compensation:

Pay is based off a commissioned percentage of each load. Commission rates vary for independent contractors and company drivers.

1% revenue share pay increases every six months, up to 5% (subject to performance and safety evaluations).

Bonus:

  • $1,200 sign on bonus for new drivers, paid over the first 3 months

o                 $300 after completing your first week

o                 $300 after completing your first month (30 days, minimum 5,000 miles)

o                 $300 after completing your second month

o                 $300 after completing your third month

  • $500 safety bonus after completing your third month if a clean driving and inspection record is maintained
