  1. The contractor will be solely hauling for the Carrier. Any loads besides the Carriers will still need the Carriers’approval (i.e. backhaul).
  2. Contractor will select shipments from the Carrier Portal
  3. This is a self-service model, where the contractor will be booking their own freight
  4. Shipment details and confirmation will be sent via Qualcomm
  5. Contractor will still communicate with internal Carrier teams for items such as Logs, Trailers, or Fleet Experience issues while “off pro”
  6. Contractor will work with the Carriers Truckload Fulfilment Coordinators while on Pro or anytime they have questions regarding specific shipments.

Loaded Miles: $1.40   Deadhead: $1.00   Minimum per Load: $375.00 Back Haul:  85%  

Detention 2-9hrs: $25.00 Loaded Layover: $75.00   Stop Off:  $25.00

Hazmat:     $0.05     Team:      $0.20         

Hand Load:  $25.00   Canadian Loaded: $170.00          

Life Science: $0.08 Elite Services: $0.12 (every load after gov’t cleared)   Gov’t Shipment:   $0.10 (when dispatched on gov’t load)             

Pay Structure:

  1. Contractor will be paid 75% of the net line-haul revenue
    2. Contractor will be paid by Carrier FSC per ICOA on all loaded miles
    3. All standard Carrier accessorial will apply per ICOA
    4. Deadhead miles, as defined by the ICOA, will not be paid starting week 5
    5. Standard ICOA agreed-upon deductions apply
    6. A trailer fee of $150 will be deducted starting week 5 in the program
    7. Weekly settlement and time of payment will remain unchanged

Tractor Requirements:
· Have a valid Level 1 Department of Transportation inspection within the last thirty (30) days.
· Ten (10) years old or newer.
· The minimum payload capacity of $32,500 lbs.
· Fifth wheel height not greater than 48 inches.
· Department of Transportation required emergency equipment.
· Department of Transportation approved sleeper.

Minimum Requirement to become a Contractor:

  1. Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  2. Be able to read, write, understand, and speak the English language.
    C. Be authorized to work in the United States.
    D. Have a state-issued Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsement(s).
    E. Flatbed- two (2) years’ experience.
    F. If operating Class E Tractors, an independent contractor must have
    · Six (6) months full-time verifiable experience with a Department of Transportation (DOT)
    certified carrier operating an articulating vehicle in the last twelve (12) months.
    · Or twelve (12) months full time in the last five (5) years.
    · Or twenty-four (24) months of full time in the last ten (10) years.- CDL and 6 months of verified experience
