Overview
Must have own truck or box truck to Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and or Box truck driver take charge of delivering freight safely and efficiently across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. As a key player in our logistics network, you will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in driving, cargo handling, and route management will contribute directly to our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence.
Duties
● Must have own truck or box truckand insurance to be part of. the team.
Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized vehicles such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks.
Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes.
Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques or equipment like forklifts, ensuring cargo is secured according to safety standards.
Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and hazardous materials regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, deliveries, and cargo manifests in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or safety concerns while maintaining professionalism on the road.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to the vehicle types operated (e.g., hazmat, tanker).
Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route management.
Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed loads, tanker operations, and automobile transportation is preferred.
Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazard handling procedures, and hazardous materials regulations.
Ability to manually handle cargo safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Experience with manual transmission trucks is advantageous; however, training can be provided for qualified candidates.
Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight security and proper load distribution.
